Julián Esteban Torres Corchuelo

Julián Esteban Torres Corchuelo is a Communications and Policy Analyst at Sandbag.

He is a lawyer with a specialisation in Constitutional Law from the National University of Colombia, with professional experience in climate governance, comparative environmental regulation, and public policy research through his work with several NGOs in Colombia.

Beyond his professional roles, Julián has actively engaged in environmental volunteering, including initiatives where he designed and delivered educational talks to raise awareness on climate change and environmental law. He has also worked as an independent environmental litigator and contributed to drafting local regulations to establish Climate Councils in two municipalities in Cundinamarca, Colombia.
