Emma Wikström

Policy Officer

Emma Wikström is a policy officer at Sandbag, working on topics such as carbon pricing and carbon dioxide removal (CDR).

Emma holds an MSc in Environmental Management and Policy from Lund University and wrote her MSc thesis on mission-oriented EU green industrial policy.

Before joining Sandbag, she worked at the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency in the EU ETS monitoring unit. She has also worked as a Sustainability and Public Affairs trainee at the Brussels-based consultancy Miltton Europe and as a trainee for MEP Jakop Dalunde in the European Parliament where she supported him in negotiations on the EU ETS in the ITRE and TRAN committees.
