Edoardo Oscari

Edoardo Oscari is Sandbag’s Policy Analyst, specialising in EU climate policy, carbon markets, and industrial decarbonisation. 

He holds a dual Master’s degree from Bocconi University and the Hertie School of Governance, where he focused on public policy, international organisations, and the economic implications of climate regulation. Edoardo has experience supporting Article 6 capacity-building activities and organising multi-stakeholder dialogues during his time at GIZ. In the private sector, he worked at ClimEase on the implementation of the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), collaborating with industry stakeholders on compliance and transition strategies.

At Sandbag, he provides policy analysis on European climate regulation, with a particular focus on CBAM at the intersection of trade, industry, and decarbonisation.
