Constantin Johnson
Policy Officer
Constantin Johnson is a Policy Officer at Sandbag, covering industrial decarbonisation and climate policies, such as the CBAM and EU ETS.
He holds an M.Sc. in Engineering Physics from Lund University and wrote his thesis on the impacts of the EU ETS and CBAM on global steel decarbonisation.
He previously worked as a Policy Analyst in Public Affairs at Stegra, focusing on CBAM and green markets for industrial decarbonisation. He has also worked as a Research Assistant at Lund University where he researched global steel decarbonisation surrounding the EU ETS and CBAM through techno-economic modelling and data analysis.
Overall, his research strongly focuses on how value chain configurations and global climate cooperation can enable rapid decarbonisation.
