On 21 February 2025, Sandbag took part in the “Making a Success of the Clean Industry Pact” seminar at the French Permanent Representation to the EU. Director Adrien Assous highlighted the urgent need to phase out free allocation and strengthen the CBAM to ensure Europe’s industry decarbonises fairly and effectively.
